flo-rida (feat. ne-yo) - “be on you”
Thought I’d discuss the new song “Be On You” from Flo-Rida, especially its chorus.
Sung by the man with the perfect pop formula these days, Ne-Yo, the chorus features the following lyrics, and I quote:
I said excuse me little mama if I may
Take this thought and send it your way
And if you don’t like that, then send it right back,
But I just gotta say
I wanna be on you (on you).
Apart from being pure poetry, the chorus’ lyrics are an un-ignorable tie-in with the greatest comedy of the decade.
Watch the following video and it should all become clear. Pay close attention at about 1:12. Wait, actually, pay attention to all of the video, because it’s hysterical :
