Thanks to my college buddy Chris Mizell sending this one to me.
We all know the First Movement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, or at least the first few seconds of it (as one professor in college put it, “The most recognizable four notes of all time.”). Past the first four notes, the other 7+ minutes of the movement is a fast-paced, loud, and aggressive piece in a primarily minor tonality: features that made it the edgiest thing out at the time of its composition.
